Southern Designs is original, handcrafted, artisan jewelry.
My designs are inspired by my love of nature, whether it's the artistic painting that comes natural to a birch tree's
bark or the mesmerizing colors found in an agate. I am blessed to be able to live and work in the ancient and beautiful Uwharrie Mountains, where I find
plenty of inspiration in the marvelous beauty that surrounds me. Each piece that I make is one of a kind. Created with natural gemstones, freshwater pearls,
organic materials, as well as my raku pottery combined with metals such as silver, gold or copper, it is hoped to become
a treasured item for you to add to your collection; and then, with proper care, handed down to someone special.
