Our Story

What started as a hobby turned into a business.

Hello Everyone, I’m Ashley!

Southern Designs was created as a family business with the support of my husband and my beautiful daughter. We started “Southern Designs” as a hobby in 2020 when everyone was in lockdown. In 2020, I got engaged, married, and became a stay-at-home mom. My daughter was/is a high risk when the virus was spreading, and my husband and I decided to homeschool our daughter. While she was E-Learning, I played around with my Cricut and printer.

My husband noticed that I had a talent for creating designs and convinced me to sell some of my products to family members at first. It took some time actually to open my website, and in 2022 I ripped the band-aid off and said HECK with it and went official.

We don’t just create products for mama’s; we make products for everyone. We have a lot of mommy & Me, His & hers, Daddy & me products, and even custom orders! A lot of my designs are inspired by my daughter.
