Southern Designs is original, handcrafted, artisan jewelry.
My designs are inspired by my love of the marvels of nature that surrounds me each day, whether it's the artistic painting
that comes natural to a birch tree's bark or the mesmerizing colors found in an agate. Working in my studio in Troy, NC, located in the ancient and beautiful
Uwharrie Mountains, I attempt to show in my jewelry, the marvelous beauty that surrounds us. Each piece that I make is one of a kind. Created with natural gemstones,
freshwater pearls, organic materials, as well as my raku pottery combined with metals such as silver, gold or copper,
it is hoped to become a treasured item for you to add to your collection; and then, with proper care, handed down to someone
special.
